At the heart of The Children’s Neighborhood is the Emergency Shelter. This facility is a critical piece of the program, as it will allow for immediate placement of children in a safe, nurturing environment.

As children are brought to the shelter, our dedicated and professional staff evaluate each child’s needs and begin to locate an appropriate placement for the child.

The Emergency Shelter and Staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to the needs of abused or neglected children. The facility can accommodate twelve children at a time, with a maximum stay of 45 days.
