Children that are in need of long-term foster care will be
placed in one of the Group Homes that form the Children’s
Neighborhood. Each home accommodates six children, and two
House Parents who provide a structured and stable home environment.
The House Parents and the children function as a family by
living together, playing together, and eating meals together.
Children can be placed in the same Group Home as their siblings,
so that family bonds are preserved. The family atmosphere
helps the children learn to establish and maintain healthy
relationships, a skill that will stay with them long after
they have left our care.
